At a recent meeting in Indianapolis, the Indiana Ready Mixed Concrete Association (IRMCA) presented a generous contribution to the Work IN Roads Foundation.
The funds were raised through IRMCA’s Hot Wheels Mixer Truck Drag Race, an event that attracted a lot of attention and support from the community.
The check was received by the ICI Board, who expressed their gratitude for the association’s continued commitment to workforce development in the state.
The funds will be used to support the Civil Construction Pathway curriculum and provide students with hands-on learning experiences.
The Civil Construction Career Pathway (CCP) was born from an opportunity to provide Indiana students seeking non-traditional education alternatives and state infrastructure employers looking for career-ready graduates. We’re offering the next generation of skilled trade workers the opportunity to work on some of the most important projects in our community by building and maintaining our state’s infrastructure.
