Ball State University Alumni: He almost dropped out, now he’s CEO

Adam Owens is a graduate (’09) of Ball State University. Adam attempted multiple times to get admitted into Ball State’s architecture program but was rejected four times. After the fourth rejection, Adam was not sure what to do next. His wife suggested he talk with a family member that worked at the university to help navigate where to turn next. This is when Adam was introduced to a new program, construction management.

Needless to say, this program was a perfect match for Adam. During his time at Ball State, Adam worked for a local construction company. Upon graduation, he was hired full-time.
